Singapore Oceanarium replaces S.E.A. Aquarium on Sentosa
Resorts World Sentosa opened the Singapore Oceanarium in July 2025 as the replacement for its S.E.A. Aquarium. The new building is three times the size of the old one.
The Singapore Oceanarium is part of the Resorts World Sentosa (RWS) expansion first agreed in 2019. RWS announced in May 2025 that it would open on 23 July 2025, and described it as three times larger than the S.E.A. Aquarium it replaces.
The Oceanarium is arranged in 22 zones. It also includes a Research and Learning Centre, which has Singapore’s Green Mark Platinum Zero Energy certification for energy performance.
It was the second major RWS attraction to open in 2025, after Minion Land in February.
