What Sentosa Cove is.
Sentosa Cove is a gated waterfront enclave on Sentosa island. It is not mainland Singapore. This chapter is for people who have not yet stood inside the gates.
This is the enclave. The live listing is a Cove Drive bungalow on the golf side, not a berth. See the live listing
A gated precinct on Sentosa
The Cove sits on the eastern side of Sentosa. Access is controlled. Inside there are landed houses and condominiums. Tenure is typically 99-year leasehold.
It is a residential enclave with its own streets, not a stretch of the mainland, and not a hotel strip.
What the precinct holds
Quayside Isle is the harbourfront cluster of restaurants and shops. There is a golf course. There is a marina. Those are facts of the precinct.
They do not make every house a marina house, and they do not make every lot a sea view. A golf-course house is a golf-course house. A waterfront house is a different lot.
Cove Drive
Cove Drive is a landed street in the Cove. Some of the houses look onto the golf course. A Cove Drive bungalow is currently listed on this site.
Not the mainland
Singapore’s mainland and Sentosa Cove are not the same market. Foreigners who may own landed in the Cove generally cannot own landed on the mainland. That is a later chapter.
A Cove Drive bungalow is currently listed. Golf-course frontage, not the marina.
